Local Red Cross Offers Preparedness Tool for Local Businesses;
Continuity Planning is a Key to Profitability and Performance
Corpus Christi, TX – For any business, prolonged bad weather, a fire, a disaster and other emergencies can take a devastating toll on daily operations. The local Red Cross offers an informational CD-ROM for local businesses on how to build a plan to keep their employees safe and businesses running.

The local Red Cross offers a “Guide to Business Continuity Planning” CD-ROM that companies, both large and small, can use to:
- Plan for and address safety issues
- Learn how to communicate critical information to public and private agencies
- Learn how to lessen business stoppages
- Rebound if there is a service interruption
The guide is a resourceful tool that enables businesses to quickly adjust their continuity plan when suddenly faced with urgent circumstances.
